DSB Rock Island is seeking an Audit Associate to join our Assurance team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals while supporting audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held businesses and organizations. What You’ll Do

In this role, you'll develop your audit knowledge while working directly with clients and experienced team members on a variety of assurance engagements.

  • Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held businesses and organizations
  • Perform fieldwork and testing procedures for assigned engagement areas with guidance from senior team members
  • Develop an understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and sampling techniques
  • Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to help identify issues and exceptions
  • Prepare workpapers and engagement documentation in accordance with professional standards
  • Gain exposure to financial statement preparation and reporting requirements
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and support engagement completion
