Job description

Banquet Set-up Lead person needed at the Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee. Lead the team that will set up tables/chairs for meetings, events, and weddings; will do some some A/V set up. Must be able to adapt to changing requests while maintaining positive interactions with guests and co-workers. Full-time hours, generally 6am-2pm but requires flexibility to work some evenings. Must have weekend availability. Pay rate $22/hr.
Responsibilities:
  • Open meeting rooms, coordinate staff to accomplish set up needs for the day.
  • Provide room set up and take down for busy hotel banquet department.
  • Respond efficiently to guest or management requests.
  • Perform some food service and cleaning components as part of regular hotel duties.

Qualifications:
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Ability to follow directions and have good math skills used for measuring and set up of banquet space.
  • Ability to lift and move a 72" round table.
  • Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds and sometimes 50-75 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate with guests in English.
  • Previous event set-up experience and supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and/or experience is helpful.
