We are seeking an AV Solution Architect who demonstrates outstanding skills as an audio video technologist with both technical know-how and technical leadership qualities. The AV Solution Architect collaborates with salespeople, sales support teams, and the AV design engineers to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision makers. The AV Solution Architect is responsible for achieving profit and productivity through strategic customer meetings, defining solutions, and supporting sales teams as the technical expert needed to move conversations forward with customers.
The AV Solution Architect is knowledgeable in a broad range of AV disciplines including Unified Communications, Audio systems, Video display systems including direct view LED, control systems, and has experience in understanding how to properly integrate hardware from multiple vendors to create successful AV solutions for the customer.
The AV Architect has sales and relationship skills to assist the account manager in growing the sales relationship with the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and our company.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with the customers' business requirements.
  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal's "technical close."
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Serves as technical expert and assists with the strategic direction for all AV products and offerings
  • Develops proposals and Statements of Work with the aid of the AV sales support team to assure accurate implementation and pricing.
  • Assists in development of the overall AV product and services strategy, specifically with the goal of increasing AV product sales in a customer base that does not currently purchase AV from the company.
  • Stays up to date on the latest trends and issues of all AV offerings.
  • In person attendance as required.
  • Presents AV solution proposals with the appropriate salesperson and/or the Director of AV Solutions and Services.

Knowledge, Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audio Video
  • CTS, with CTS-D or CTS-I preferred
