What does an auction assistant do?

An auction assistant provides day-to-day support to auctioneers and management staff. Staying organized, maintaining clear communication with the auctioneer and other team members, and being adaptable are key to overcoming these challenges. Proactive preparation—such as double-checking auction materials and familiarizing yourself with the catalog—can help ensure a smooth event and minimize errors.
