Job description

PURPOSE

Manage credit risk for all regional customers, to assure credit limits, payment terms and customer financial information is updated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Performing credit checks and reviewing financial information in order to properly set up customer accounts.
  • To actively manage current customer payment terms and trends to make account changes as necessary.
  • To resolve any customer payment issues.
  • Initiate write-off of bad debt.
  • Perform cash application as necessary.
  • Implement and manage A/R plan to improve all related metrics.
  • Run ATB to actively collect past due invoices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Fast Paced Corporate Culture with high profile deadlines
  • Office environment with much focus on reporting and information management.
  • Many phone calls would require headset use.
  • Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Some travel required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. Degree in accounting, business or related field.
  • 2-4 years experience credit risk; accounting (payables/receivables).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
