Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, youโ€™ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes. In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and care team, youโ€™ll help manage medical needs and promote their independence โ€“ caring for patients like family, one home visit at a time. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing nursing care in the home, including wound care, medication administration, and support during procedures 
  • Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and thoroughly to support safe, continuous care 
  • Monitoring patient status and alerting the care team of any changes to ensure timely, coordinated responses 
  • Educating patients and families to support medication adherence, strengthen understanding of health conditions, and promote greater independence at home 
  • Collaborating closely with RNs, providers, therapists, and care coordinators to deliver high-quality, personalized care in the home setting
What qualifications you will need:


  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
  • (DL) Driver License
  • Vocational School Graduate
