Job Title: Property Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Fairgrounds Park Place Apartments

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.

- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems.

- Perform general repairs, including drywall, painting, and carpentry.

- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and tools.

- Assist with the turnover of vacant units to prepare them for new residents.

- Keep accurate records of work orders and maintenance logs.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and community policies.

- Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.

- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a multifamily residential setting.

- EPA certification required. Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

- Strong organization skill.

- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
