Do you take pride in keeping equipment running smoothly and safely? Hill Bros Transportation is looking for a Trailer Technician who can diagnose issues, perform quality repairs, and ensure our OTR dry van and refrigerated trailers stay on the road.


What You'll Do:

You'll be the go-to expert for our trailer fleet-inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing everything from refrigerated units to container chassis. From routine preventative maintenance to diagnosing mechanical problems, you'll keep our equipment safe, compliant, and ready to roll. You'll work with our parts coordinator to get what you need, document your work accurately in our maintenance system, and collaborate with the shop team to minimize downtime. This isn't just turning wrenches-you're a critical part of keeping our drivers safe and our customers' freight moving.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6-12 months of maintenance or repair experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals and safety procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers to log work and navigate maintenance systems
  • Good driving history (valid CDL in state of residence encouraged but not required)
  • Safety-focused mindset-you recognize hazards and take action
  • Team player who communicates well and works independently when needed
