Job description

Are you passionate about creating great food and being part of a high-energy kitchen team? Regency at Dominion Valley is looking for a skilled and dependable Cook to support both our restaurant and banquet operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork, we’d love to meet you.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hr. Part Time and Full Time available

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for both daily service and special events. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing food items according to recipes, production needs, and quality standards
  • Assisting with both à la carte restaurant service and banquet production
  • Prepping ingredients ahead of service while minimizing waste
  • Maintaining proper food labeling, dating, rotation, and storage practices
  • Setting up your station based on pars and anticipated business levels
  • Monitoring inventory and communicating shortages or needs
  • Receiving and properly storing deliveries from vendors
  • Supporting food cost control by reducing waste and following standards
  • Assisting with monthly inventory and food audits
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
  • Pitching in wherever needed—including supporting our banquets and events

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience
  • Ability to work across multiple service styles (restaurant + banquets)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability (transportation required)
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works well under pressure
