 What You will Do:

  • On-Site Photo, Magnetoscop, and Airflow Evaluation
  • Work within a team of Quality Engineers to perform data collection tasks on assigned hardware of both interior and exterior attributes
  • Data collection tasks include: taking photographs of the part from multiple views using a handheld digital camera, capturing a 3D scan of the part using provided optical equipment, and measuring internal voids using a magnetoscop probe, and performing airflow bench test using pressurized air.
  • Maintain part tracking tools using MS Office of identified hardware
  • Document outliers of significant damage for further evaluation by process experts
  • Provide status updates on project objectives to Reporting Supervisor and / or Project Leader

What You Will Bring:

  • 2-4 years of direct experience performing Quality, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Engineering oriented work
  • Work experience within Aerospace & Defense Industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate level competency in MS Office Tools
  • Familiarity with warehouse management a plus

Pay Range: $23 - $27 hourly rate

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in East Hartford, CT, USA.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
  • 1st and 2nd shift positions available

Travel requirements: Not Anticipated. 0-5% of travel may be requested depending on business need.
