Summary of Responsibilities:

The Territory Manager drives sales and profit growth in his/her assigned region. The Territory Sales Manager works closely with current Hardware Channel Retailers, Ace Dealers, prospective Ace Dealers, Ace Multi-Store Owners, Ace Buying Groups in their respective area of responsibility and internal channel partners to meet or exceed sales goals.  The Territory Sales Manager drives results through relationship building, training, and execution on Hardware Channel yearly initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Meets or beats monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goal.
  • Recruits and signs new dealers in accordance with annual goals.
  • Provides training and sales support for Hardware/Co-op Dealers in their assigned territory.
  • Works closely with Hardware Channel partners, Ace owners, Ace associates, and end-users to grow their business. Activities include, but are not limited to, ride-a longs, training, open houses and sales support.
  • Attend Ace dealer meetings, buying group meetings, Ace national trade show (twice a year), promoting EGO/SKIL products.
  • Manages time and travel schedule to provide the most efficient and effective productivity while managing costs.
  • Build long-term relationships with Hardware Channel District Managers and Territory Managers.
  • Territory includes: MI,IN,OH,KY,WV,TN,& NC
  • Build trust and respect with internal and external customers by utilizing the utmost integrity.
  • Fully support the EGO/SKIL/FLEX brand marketing initiatives at the store level.
  • Provides channel feedback to Chervon regarding product performance, marketing initiative acceptance and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirement Education & Experience: 

  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience as a TSM
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Territory Manager or similar role in a retail environment; outdoor power equipment/ power tool experience a plus
  • Proven sales track record

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other pertinent software applications
  • Strong financial aptitude
  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience in a TSM Role

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.  

Travel: 
This position requires 60-70% travel within a designated territory

Work Environment:
This job requires driving a car and working in various office and professional environments. Some weekend work is required as it relates to Store Open Houses/ Events and Ace National Convention.
