What you will do:
As an Associate Technical Architect at Quantiphi, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of complex software solutions using .NET and ReactJS technologies, along with cloud services from AWS or Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems.
  • Core Stack: You'll be working with both modern and older tech, like React (v16/17) for the frontend and a mix of .NET Framework and .NET Core Web APIs for the backend.
  • Data: The main database is SQL Server (including 2019), often set up in a multi-tenant architecture. You'll see separate databases for transactions (OLTP) and reporting.
  • Speed & Search: Expect to use Redis for caching and Elasticsearch for search features.
  • Data Flow & Messaging: Data sync is a big deal, using SSIS to refresh current reports every 15 minutes. Near real-time reporting relies on SQL Server's Change Data Capture (CDC) to populate data marts. For audit events, they use RabbitMQ for messaging.
  • Integration & Reporting: You'll be connecting with resume parsing services, HRIS export tools, document imaging APIs, and even mobile biometric authentication. Report generation often uses Stimulsoft or IBM Cognos Analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Associate Technical Architect will be responsible for connecting with clients for project briefing, consultation, installation, and close-out reviews
  • Play the role of Lead Developer for a team comprising of 8-10 resources
  • Help out in managing customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction, and to maintain quality
  • Engage in the negotiation of customer job demands and specifications as regards to resources and infrastructure; and assist in creating comprehensive technical documents
  • Supervise activities between internal and external resources, and facilitate smooth workflow for service delivery
  • Evaluate project data for accuracy, and take the lead in setting project targets and priorities. Give training and mentorship to team members to make them better on the job
  • Be up to date with current field practices to enhance service standards and delivery
  • Review customer technical demands and instructions and assist the internal team and customers to identify the best order for lifts and the most efficient methods of maintaining and using delivered materials
  • Remain knowledgeable about current technology and carry out research to identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results.
  • Carry out other technical related duties that may be required. Be abreast of the best coding and architecting practices. Ensuring the APIs are robust and easy to maintain and will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications (BQs):
  • Proven experience in Full Stack development with expertise in React.js and .NET Core.
  • ASP.NET, MVC with WebForms components.
  • Multi-tenant architecture built on SQL Server.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, C#, .NET Core.
  • Strong knowledge of SCSS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, and Material UI.
  • Proficiency in version control tools like Git, build automation tools such as Maven, and deployment tools like JFrog and UDeploy.
  • Solid development experience in React, Redux, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in leading the architectural design and development of Full Stack applications, with a strong focus on React.js and .NET Core.
  • Experience in API integration, Application deployment, Cloud architecture, Application Security.
  • Expertise in building enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices, with a track record of production-scale experience.
  • Ability to conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, security practices, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and provide support to resolve production incidents.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring best practices, code quality, and performance optimization.
  • Capability to mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Proven experience of leading app migration engagements to cloud (preferably AWS) in the past.
  • Strong knowledge on AWS cloud data services (RDS, Aurora, Elasticache, S3 etc.) & other relevant services (compute, storage- KMS, IAM, VPC etc.).
  • Expertise with AWS migration tools & utilities (ADS, MGN, DMS, SCT etc.) & familiarity with the best fit migration pattern for each.
  • Strong knowledge on .Net application tech stack (.Net, Entity Framework) with understanding of tightly coupled data components (ex: SQL Server bound logic, DTC dependency etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of application hosting & abstraction patterns on AWS (containerization, microservices, serverless).
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud ecosystem & associated application/ infrastructure/ data components & services.

Other Qualifications (OQs):
  • Relevant certifications (e.g Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc.) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments and strong Shell scripting experience
  • Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Ability to understand and meet architecture requirements, ensuring effective design, development, validation, and support
  • Capability to identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, with the ability to recommend effective solutions
  • Knowledge of identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of applications.
