How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the long term care setting in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor individualized care plans.
  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to carry out nursing orders.
  • Promote resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
