Location:Warner Robins, GA

Job Description

Develop, update, and maintain technical publications and maintenance documentation for aircraft systems and subsystems. Analyze engineering source data, create publication content, support verification activities, and ensure technical accuracy in accordance with customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical publications, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting procedures, illustrated parts breakdowns, and schematic diagrams.

  • Research, collect, and analyze engineering source data and maintenance requirements.

  • Resolve source data gaps, inconsistencies, and documentation issues.

  • Update publication content based on design changes, equipment modifications, and review feedback.

  • Create and review illustration and artwork markups.

  • Validate technical data and identify inaccuracies requiring corrective action.

  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with publication standards.

  • Support customer verification reviews and implement required updates.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with aircraft technical data and maintenance publications.

  • 1+ year of experience with tactical aircraft avionics systems, subsystems, and components.

  • 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Ability to analyze technical documentation and engineering data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of military or civilian aircraft maintenance experience.

  • Experience authoring aircraft technical publications.

  • Experience reading engineering drawings, 3D models, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents.

  • Experience with S1000D and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).

  • Familiarity with XML and Contenta publishing tools.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree with 1+ year of related experience or 7+ years of related experience.
