Job description

Associate Technical Product Delivery Specialist

Company:

Boeing Aerospace Operations

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking an Associate Technical Product Delivery Specialist to join The Boeing C-17 Transport Tools and Technologies organization in Warner Robins, GA

This role will focus on the integration, final quality checks, publishing processing, and support production and delivery of end products driven by S1000D XML data. This includes the coordination between Boeing C-17 Technical Publications and external customer on delivery format(s), requirements, and maintaining data library.

You will work with many different software and sever components to ensure the C-17 technical data teams have the necessary tools at-the-ready to execute requirements in order to produce and sustain multiple technical publication products in timely and repetitive manner.

This will require interfacing with teams across the country, knowledge in server and OS administration, programming skills, the ability to organize and prioritize workload, work with and lean on others to perform and excel.


Position Responsibilities:

  • 5 days a week onsite

  • Supports identifying document and technical data delivery requirements based on customer and contract guidelines

  • Gathers technical documents and data, assembles technical end-product, and performs routine quality checks

  • Completes simple release of customer technical end-product in the appropriate format per contract requirements

  • Files delivery records and administers customer access to online technical content and technical data library

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues

  • 1+ years of working with Adobe Acrobat Pro for manipulating, editing, and cropping PDF files

  • 1+ years using Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM)

  • 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, and/or Gitlab

  • 1+ years of experience with MS SharePoint

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years of experience with working with industry specifications for maintenance information (ATA iSpec2200, S1000D, spec 2000, spec 2300, etc.)

  • 1+ years of experience do you have in Extensible Markup Language (XML)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with technical publications and associated languages (S1000D XML, SGML)

  • Experience in a role that requires functioning in self-directed environment

  • Experience with government customers to deliver services and products
