Compensation: $21.73-$30.25 per hour

Position Overview:

The HR Coordinator provides critical support to the Temple, TX production plant and the HR Manager. This role requires strong written and spoken communication skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance and confidentiality. The HR Coordinator will have daily contact with employees, provide training support, complete administrative payroll activities and execute onboarding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage processes connected with payroll administration to confirm accurate and timely payrolls.
  • Collaborate in a team-based, diverse environment, providing excellent, friendly and responsive customer service to employees and managers.
  • Lead and support the onboarding/exiting process to include orientation, retention programs, exit interview and administration functions.
  • Support the benefits administration process by maintaining working knowledge of the company’s benefit plans, participate in open enrollment functions including employee education and communication.
  • Proactively address workforce concerns by answering employee questions and/or facilitating resolution of employee concerns.
  • Support all employee initiatives and practices including recruitment, talent, leadership development, retention, engagement, performance and talent management.
  • Demonstrate good attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish, or professional working proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
  • Required: Associates degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
