What You'll Do:
As a Production/ Packaging Associate you will fill and prepare all materials accurately and efficiently based on customer specifications.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
  • Gathers empty containers and places them on machines to be filled in an efficient way to meet order needs.
  • Fills and prepares products and materials, following customer specifications and due dates.
  • Calculates gallons of materials made and ensures they are meeting the specifications based on orders.
  • Confirms materials are labeled correctly with accurate customer/part numbers and is accurately stored in designated warehouse locations to ensure it is easy to locate.
  • Stacks materials on skids and follows procedures to ensure they are stacked safely for transportation.

Position Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years of production or packaging experience. (Will train the right person with great work ethic and energy)
  • Certification(s): N/A
  • Functional Skills: Strong math & counting skills, detail-oriented, precise and accurate in their work. Ability to read and understand documents, procedures and specifications, along with ability to match part numbers accurately.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Good computer skills; ability to operator interface with equipment; some data entry; Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, twist and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Language Skills: Able to read, comprehend, and retain work instructions or complete the paperwork with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: High safety minded individual with a strong work ethic and values, focused on the customer, quality, and accuracy, takes the time to do things right yet is flexible to cross-train and move to other priorities throughout the department.
  • Culture Match Behaviors: Collaborative, respectful, interacts professionally with others both inside and outside of the organization.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Hourly pay from $20-23 per hour

Reports To: Production Manager
Core Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (schedule can be slightly flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 - 45 hours a week on average (Some Saturdays as needed)
