What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Associate Planner, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Associate Planner, you need a foundational understanding of urban planning principles, data analysis, and report writing, typically supported by a degree in urban planning, geography, or a related field. Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), project management software, and relevant planning regulations is often required.
