D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Associate Loan Processor for their Branch or Regional Processing Center. The right candidate will assist in the processing of mortgage loans by providing coverage to teammates who are out of the office. Provide high level of customer service to our builders as well as our home buyers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Associate Loan Processor is responsible for covering the pipeline of teammates who are out of the office due to approved vacation, leave of absence, sick leave, etc. The Branch Operations Manager or Regional Processing Center Manager will direct the daily duties of the Associate Loan Processor. The Associate Loan Processor will perform all normal functions of the Loan Processor, including, but not limited to:
  • Communicating with the MLO, borrower, etc. on any items needed for the loan
  • Submitting loan files and/or conditions to Underwriting
  • Completing pre-draws for Closing
  • Submitting loan files to Closing after Final Approval
  • Updating comments and communication on all relevant reports

Quality Control Responsibilities:
  • Read updates and comply with all Quality Control policies
  • Attend QC meetings as scheduled
  • Review all files for DHI Mortgage required checklists

General Processor Responsibilities:
  • Review Loan Processor reports/dashboards daily,
  • Maintain accurate communication log
  • Attend weekly processor meetings as directed by Branch Operations Manager
  • Be aware of AU findings in each file, don't "over-document" the file

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
