Job Description
The Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure efficient branch and warehouse performance. This role manages order processing, inventory control, logistics scheduling, and documentation activities to maintain smooth daily operations and superior customer service. The Operations Coordinator partners with internal departments-including Sales, Purchasing, Repair Service and Operations-to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all operational tasks that support SouthernCarlson's commitment to service excellence and operational integrity.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and manage daily branch and warehouse operational activities, including order entry, invoicing, scheduling, and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure all sales orders, purchase orders, and transfers are processed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support inventory management through monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with cycle counts and product returns.
  • Support repair service invoicing, customer satisfaction, tool repair completion.
  • Oversee and provide administrative support for operational documentation, including vendor invoices, credit requests, and internal audits.
  • Ensure adherence to SouthernCarlson's policies, procedures, trainings and safety standards at all times.
  • Perform other operational or administrative duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Operations Manager.

What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, customer service, or administrative support.
• Experience within a distribution, construction supply, or industrial environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
