Operations Coordinator

Position Overview 

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. This role includes facilitating communication between departments, supporting staff with daily needs, and assisting in the implementation of operational policies and procedures. The position serves as a primary point of contact between clients, staff, and management to maintain standards and enhance service quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure a clean and orderly environment, addressing client requests and following up to verify completion.
  • Facilitate in-service training sessions to clarify company policies and proper procedures for handling equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Track inventory and supplies, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure availability and proper usage of materials.
  • Respond to feedback about housekeeping services or equipment, coordinating necessary actions to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain documentation on operational activities, including task assignments, incident reports, and updates on equipment use.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating special projects and initiatives to support operational goals.
  • Act as a liaison across departments to streamline communication and problem-solving efforts.
  • Provide updates and insights on operational activities to leadership, recommending improvements when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state health department regulations concerning materials and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training seminars to improve processes and reinforce safety protocols.
  • May perform other duties as deemed operationally necessary by management.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
