Title: Associate Director of Sales

Location: San Jose, CA 

Employment Type: Full Time

Role Mandate

Aspire Systems is hiring a Retail Sales – Hunter to drive net-new logo acquisition across North America.

This role is responsible for:

  • Building enterprise retail pipeline from scratch
  • Leading Account-Based Marketing (ABM) led outreach in targeted Named Accounts
  • Managing and coaching an SDR/BDR to generate qualified meetings
  • Closing large digital transformation, AI, Commerce, Unified Commerce and Cloud deals

This is not an account management role.

This is a frontline, strategic, enterprise hunter position.

What You Will Own

Net-New Logo Growth

  • Prospect, qualify, and win enterprise retail accounts.
  • Develop and execute territory strategy using ABM frameworks.
  • Create multi-threaded CXO engagement plans (CIO, CDO, CTO, CMO, VP Digital, VP Stores).

Sales Strategy & ABM Leadership

  • Build named account plans aligned to retail sub-verticals (Specialty, Grocery, Fashion, Big Box, DTC).
  • Design targeted outreach campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
  • Orchestrate high-impact executive meetings via SDR/BDR support.
  • Leverage retail industry events (NRF, Shoptalk, Groceryshop, Dreamforce, Oracle events) for networking and deal acceleration.

Team Orchestration

  • Manage and mentor a Business Development/SDR resource to drive meeting generation.
  • Partner with:
  • Onsite Technical Consultants
  • Offshore Presales & Solution Architects
  • Delivery leadership
  • Alliance/Partner teams (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, Oracle Retail, Adobe, Cloud hyperscalers)
  • Lead deal shaping workshops and proposal strategy.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, trainic licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The salary range displays the minimum and maximum targets for this position across all US locations and has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $180,000 to $190,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, or variable bonus programs. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
