Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planning professionals, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and maximize market share.
  • Provide leadership support throughmotivationand mentoring of ourhigh-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and exceed customer expectations.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay informed about the latest sales techniques and best practices in the hospitality industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of hotel sales experience, hotel preferred
  • Confident and professional appearance
  • Highly developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
  • Demonstrate leadership skills at all levels of the hotel as well as externally
  • Understand and have a working knowledge of statistical data (Star Report, P&L, expense sheets, competitive pricing analysis)
  • Experience with CI (Marriott’s selling platform) and Cvent a plus.
