Job Title:Associate, Apparel Merchandising - Global HOKA
Reports to:Director of Apparel, Global Merchandising


Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Typically 3 times per week in office, Tuesday - Thursday

The Role

As an Associate, Apparel Merchandising for Global HOKA, you'll support the Merchandising team in executing seasonal directives and key initiatives across the global marketplace, including both DTC and Wholesale channels. You'll support line planning, seasonal assortment creation, and merchandising tools throughout the go-to-market process while partnering with cross-functional teams to align product, brand, and commercial priorities. Your focus will be on consumer-driven assortments, pricing strategies, and market insights, ensuring business goals are met and supporting seasonal handoffs for regional partners.

Your Impact

  • Execute key milestones and deliverables within the global merchandising calendar, ensuring timely completion and high-quality execution
  • Manage and maintain merchandising tools across multiple seasons, including creation, updates, organization, file management, and communication with key partners
  • Manage multiple seasons simultaneously, ensuring high-quality execution and on-time delivery of key merchandising milestones
  • Bring a consumer-first mindset to all work, leveraging marketplace insights to support informed merchandising decisions
  • Support ongoing feedback loops with Product and Demand Creation teams, using marketplace and business results to inform future opportunities
  • Stay current on industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to support product and merchandising strategies
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager to assess competitive insights and translate learnings into actionable recommendations
  • Review sales performance and inventory trends with Brand Planning partners to support in-season strategies and business recaps
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams through proactive communication and collaboration
  • Partner with the Operations Lead to maintain merchandising calendars and communicate key updates to stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while demonstrating adaptability, ownership, and teamwork

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3+ years of merchandising experience supporting both DTC and Wholesale channels
  • Experience within the performance, athletic, outdoor, or consumer products industry preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and marketplace performance data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising/planning tools
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • Focused decision-making guided by brand integrity and company values
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
