Your Part in It:
Working out of our Miami office, we are looking for our next Key Account Manager Air & Ocean Exports.
Working within the Operations team, you will be responsible for managing key customer account while directly overseeing the execution of their shipments. This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong expertise in U.S. export processes across both air and ocean freight.
You will act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring shipments are executed efficiently, issues are proactively managed, and service expectations are consistently exceeded.
Key Account Manager - Operations
What the Job Entails:
  • Manage day-to-day operations for key customer accounts, including both air and ocean export shipments
  • Coordinate bookings, documentation, and execution from pickup through final departure
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations, AES filings, and customer-specific requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and solutions
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions quickly
  • Work closely with internal teams (warehouse, dispatch, pricing, compliance) to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain accurate and complete shipment data within CargoWise
  • Monitor shipment timelines and proactively address delays or service risks
  • Support process improvements and help standardize operations for assigned accounts
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations
  • Strong operational experience in U.S. air and ocean exports (required)
  • Import experience is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with CargoWise (required)
  • Strong understanding of export documentation, AES, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams
  • High level of ownership and accountability

This is a full-time, in-office, permanent position from Monday to Friday.
