Job Description:

As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is seeking an entry level Integration and Test Engineer to perform Software Systems Integration and System Test functions related to the MOSSAIC Optical Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) activities such as Requirements Development/Derivation, Test Documentation (Plans, Procedures, Reports), Test Execution, System Troubleshooting, Defect Tracking and Resolution. 

Essential Functions:

  • Execute and assist in developing detailed test plans, procedures and cases based on system requirements.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance/functionality meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers and senior Integration & Test Engineers to identify system requirements for Validation & Verification.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, test methodology and potential problems.
  • Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma and 4 years of experience.
  • Active U.S. DoW Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active U.S. DoW Secret security clearance.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Models based in SysML.
  • Active Security+ CE certification
  • Basic knowledge of the Space Domain Awareness enterprise and engineering efforts.
  • Familiarity with MBSE/Eggplant and similar testing tools as well as DoW testing requirements.
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Experience in Scaled Agile Framework & DevSecOps methodology
  • Proficiency in Linux
  • Proficiency in Test Automation software

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $59,000-$110,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
