Job description

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the SC Johnson area in our Distribution Center. This will include management of incoming and outgoing inventory, products dispatch, customer service, tasks coordination, operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, participates in client meetings, among other related tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, coordinate and prioritize work activities.
  2. Coordinate the containers unloading and return of the empty containers.
  3. Coordinate appointments with clients.
  4. Communicate with internal and external partners as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products.
  5. Support the product dispatch task.
  6. Must be able to manage products of 25 lbs. approximately.
  7. Monitor the quality in the dispatch and take the corresponding actions for the correction and reduction of errors.
  8. Prepare and analyze reports.
  9. Participate in meetings with the client and present weekly and monthly KPI’s.
  10. Communicate in a daily basis Operational Report Results to the client.
  11. Ensure all work and tasks are completed as coordinated complying with the safety rules.
  12. Coordinate the Annual Physical Inventory.
  13. Daily warehouse equipment inspection.
  14. Provide support to other areas in the Distribution Center.
  15. Responsible for the supervision of four employees.
  16. Revise and approve the timesheets and PTO’s.
  17. Participate in the hiring process of warehouse employees.
  18. Promote and comply with all security rules, policies and procedures established by the Company.

Qualifications/Skills:

  1. Associate Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.
  3. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  4. Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
  5. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  6. AS400.
  7. Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  8. Experience using Forklift and other equipment.
  9. Teamwork.
  10. Excellent leadership skills. Develop good relationships with coworkers and promote an efficient work environment.
  11. Excellent relations with customers, courtesy in dealing with internal and external partners.
  12. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  13. Attention to details.
  14. Organizational and housekeeping skills.
