We are a compassionate and dedicated organization providing high-quality care and support to adults in our licensed and certified Adult Family Homes throughout Wisconsin. Our mission is to create safe, supportive, and person-centered environments where residents can thrive with dignity, independence, and respect.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Adult Family Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple Adult Family Homes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs. The Group Home Manager will be responsible for staff supervision, compliance with state regulations, and ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple Adult Family Homes in compliance with Wisconsin DHS regulations.

· Collaborate with HR and upper management to hire, train, supervise, and support direct care staff.

· Ensure residents’ care plans are developed, implemented, and updated as needed.

· Provide leadership in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment.

· Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing coverage.

· Monitor medication administration and health care needs of residents.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports, resident files, and regulatory compliance.

· Serve as a liaison with families, guardians, case managers, and external service providers.

· Conduct regular home visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

· Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and maintaining household supplies.

· Be on-call every other weekend and respond to after-hours incidents as needed.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, or related field preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential care, group home management, or a related field.

· Knowledge of Wisconsin DHS 88 (Adult Family Home) licensing requirements strongly preferred.

· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

· Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.

· Must be able to pass background checks and meet caregiver qualifications.
