Make an Impact
As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming, validation, and process optimization. You will work at the intersection of manufacturing, quality, and engineering, developing measurement solutions that ensure product integrity while driving continuous improvement across operations.
This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the production of highly engineered products within the global energy sector.
What You'll Do
  • Generate, maintain, verify, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS
  • Program parts in accordance with engineering standards and documented Product Quality Plans
  • Utilize Siemens NX 2206/2412 to manipulate models and support CMM programming activities
  • Perform CMM program prove-outs and validate measurement accuracy and results
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and validate CMM hardware and software systems
  • Provide technical support to Manufacturing Engineers and train operators on CMM processes and best practices
  • Deliver daily shop floor support, troubleshooting measurement and programming issues as they arise
  • Develop and maintain workstation instructions and standardized methods related to CMM operations
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and project updates to key stakeholders
  • Support a fast-paced manufacturing environment while helping drive positive organizational change
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of offline PC-DMIS programming experience
  • Proven experience generating, validating, and optimizing CMM programs within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot CMM hardware, software, and programming issues
  • Experience proving out CMM programs and verifying measurement results
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrixed organization
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens NX 2206/2412
  • Experience leading process improvement or operational excellence initiatives
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Prior experience supporting high-volume or complex manufacturing operations
