Our Financial Reports Processing team focuses on the firm's critical business needs. From proofreading financial statements to editing and assembling electronic documents and everything in between, our integrated solution approach is designed to help enable and manage growth, leverage resources, and optimize firm operations. At Plante Moran, we have the privilege of serving clients and providing consultative services as they face challenges and seek new opportunities.


Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for implementation of edits in client financial statements and subsequent letters and reporting packages associated with those statements
  • Edits and assembles electronic documents outside of firm software; this may include integrating client-prepared documents with documents created by the firm
  • Mitigating risk to the firm by enforcing assurance rules and procedures during the editing process
  • Assisting with financial statement release by ensuring all approvals have been received and appropriate compliance forms have been completed
  • Cross-check critical data between documents and applications to ensure accuracy and call attention to discrepancies
  • Use footing tools to verify values within the financial statements


The qualifications.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree in English highly preferred
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and communication skills are required
  • Knowledge of the Associated Press (AP) Style is preferred
  • Must be able to adapt to priority changes with short notice, multiple times a day
  • Must be able to remain at workspace at least 75% - 90% of work shift

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.
