Job Description
At the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential, we are laser-focused on improving opportunities and outcomes for Michiganders from preschool to postsecondary. This position serves in a student capacity assisting the Child Care Licensing Bureau (CCLB) with technical writing, policy development, and review. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in the development, review and editing of policy and research and analysis of issues related to child care. This position will also assist CCLB with a variety of administrative support related activities. This is an entry level student assistant position performing work under close and immediate supervision.

The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required is in the
Additional Requirements and Information
Student Assistant positions cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
