What You'll Be Doing
The Director of Rooms is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Concierge, and Telephone Services. This role ensures exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service and quality standards, leading service recovery efforts, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally. The Director of Rooms oversees staffing, training, performance management, scheduling, and departmental budgets while monitoring occupancy, labor costs, and inventory to maximize operational efficiency. Working closely with the General Manager, this position helps develop and implement operational policies, monitors financial performance, and drives continuous improvement to achieve guest satisfaction, employee
What Is Required
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 5-10 years of hotel operations experience, including management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and guest services
  • Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and budgeting
  • Ability to manage teams, resolve issues, and ensure high guest satisfaction.
