Job description

Provides development and marketing support to the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (“PPC”) in order to capitalize on available resources while raising new and sustainable donations. Responsibilities: Meet or exceed annual fund-raising goals established in collaboration with the PPC Board Assist with the creation and full implementation of the Donor Development & Marketing Section of PPC’s annual strategic plan Contribute to the design of overall fund-raising strategy, marketing strategy, team leadership and direction, and successful execution of established plans in accordance with PPC goals Lead, direct and oversee the Donor Development & Marketing team Focus on creating a donor culture by taking the lead to engage all staff and board members and equipping team members and volunteers Cultivate relationships with donors, oversee donor events and planned-giving Develop relationships with Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”) departments and ministries as needed to further their support for and service to PPC Research grant opportunities and write grant proposals for PPC Identify trends in pregnancy center industry related to marketing and advertising needs Review PPC website, marketing materials and newsletter for accuracy and content Other duties as assigned Requirements: Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC Pro-life in word and pro-love in action Passionate about the mission of PPC High level of confidentiality Bachelor’s degree in related field Previous fund-raising experience with a non-profit organization Previous experience writing grants Ability to recruit and develop a volunteer base Excellent communication, time management and project management skills Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to work PPC events as assigned Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
