Automation Engineer – Manufacturing

The Automation Engineer wil support a high volume raw materials manufacturing operation in Alabama. This role focuses on improving plant efficiency through PLC programming, automation design, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize automated manufacturing systems
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC and control systems
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment
  • Improve process efficiency and system reliability
  • Collaborate with cross functional engineering and operations teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing
  • Strong PLC, electrical systems, and automation background (Prefer Allen Bradley and Siemens)
