Job description

Do you have basic knowledge of Chromatography or Ligand-Binding techniques and laboratory experience? If so, this could be the position for you! This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in clinical research. 
 
Our Lincoln, NE location is hiring multiple Lab Technicians / Bioanalytical Associate Analysts to join our team. These roles are Full-time, benefited positions. Salary starts at $20.50 per hour and is commensurate with experience, with opportunities for an increase at 6-9 months with successful performance and attendance.  
 
We are only considering candidates who currently live in the Lincoln, NE area and are ready to begin work in the next 4 weeks
 
Responsibilities:
  • Process/extract biological samples (blood, urine, plasma, feces) both manually and using automation
  • Prepare solutions/reagents
  • Record and document test data in notebooks/binders/electronic notebooks
  • Perform analytical analysis of samples using chromatography (LC-MS/MS and HPLC) or ligand-binding techniques (ELISA, RIA, EIA and PCR)
 
Qualifications: 
  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree or previous coursework in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related field is preferred
  • Exposure to pipetting; will pipet an average of 2-3 hours per day, at times up to 8 hours
  • Experience with GLP's is a plus
  • Basic computer skills; able to read and enter information via computer 50% of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
 
Shift:
  • Monday - Friday daily, during normal business hours, 8am-5pm, with some flexibility
  • Due to the highly variable nature of our business, we ask you to be available for at least 1 weekend day a month
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend support
