Job description

PRODUCTION:
Primary:
  • Assisting brew team with wort production (grain handling, mash out, etc)
  • Assisting and/or Leading in canning operations (including filling, packing, labeling)
  • Transfer of wort and beer at a pace congruent to our production schedule
  • Self managed cleaning of interior and exterior of all kegs as well as ensuring the integrity of the shell/spear before filling
  • Filling of kegs with adherence to company standards
  • Maintaining a flexible work-load to assist as needed
  • Strong attention to proper safety and use of chemicals

Secondary:
  • Monitoring fermentation and documenting metrics in order to guarantee healthy beer (DO, CO2, Gravities, etc)
  • CIP of tanks and brewing equipment that meet our standard of cleanliness while following all safety guidelines
  • Operation of filtration equipment and associated upkeep with said equipment

PROJECTS/PLANNING:
  • Daily documentation and record keeping to facilitate a detailed record of all production
  • Preventative upkeep of equipment (maintenance and scheduling of improvements)

EQUIPMENT:
  • Preventative upkeep of cellar related equipment to ensure their safety, quality, and longevity
  • Maintaining basic levels of facility maintenance and equipment upkeep

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years brewery (or related industry) experience
  • Cellar and packaging experience preferred
  • A well rounded technical background to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of critical brewery equipment
  • A passion for beer, brewing, and the brewing industry
