The Gig:

Virgin Voyages is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Wedding Coordinator to support the continued growth and operational execution of our Weddings & Celebrations program. This role will partner closely with the Groups Planning & Delivery Lead to coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of onboard weddings, proposal packages, and celebration experiences across the fleet.

As the Weddings program continues to scale in revenue, sailor volume, and operational complexity, this role will serve as a key operational support function focused on delivering seamless execution and elevated Sailor experiences throughout the planning lifecycle.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment, demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, and is passionate about creating unforgettable milestone experiences aligned with the Virgin Voyages brand.

Travel may be required to support onboard execution and operational needs.

This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Support the operational planning and execution of onboard wedding and celebration programs across the fleet

  • Coordinate day-to-day planning logistics and timelines for wedding and proposal experiences

  • Manage sailor communication and follow-up throughout the planning lifecycle

  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute operational documentation, including Planning Documents, event timelines, manifests, venue details, and execution grids

  • Manage manifest updates and coordinate booking-related operational changes in alignment with established processes

  • Partner closely with shipboard and shoreside teams, including Hotel Operations, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Sailor Services, Revenue, Circles, and Terminal Operations, to support seamless event execution

  • Coordinate venue logistics, setup requirements, contingency planning, and operational readiness for wedding and special event programming

  • Support entertainment and vendor coordination, including music requests, decor needs, and onboard activation logistics

  • Assist with onboard execution support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth delivery of Sailor experiences

  • Maintain operational tracking tools and internal planning systems to support alignment across departments

  • Support special voyages, proposal packages, and celebration-related experiences as the program continues to expand

  • Assist with process documentation, workflow improvements, and operational optimization initiatives

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a high level of service and execution quality

  • Participate in site inspections, ship visits, onboarding support, and operational walkthroughs as needed

  • Partner with shoreside and shipboard teams post-voyage to support reconciliation and operational follow-up as required

  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned
