Job description

Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Assistant Warehouse Manager is accountable for the supervisory functions of the shift and department assigned 
  • As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will coach and lead the warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer service 
  • You will ensure that warehouse quality and safety standards are achieved 
  • You will track productivity to meet the company’s requirements and maximize operational efficiency 
  • You will assist with various transportation and warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations, and scheduling 
  • Other projects or duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Associate’s Degree with 3 to 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1 plus years of people leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 2 to 3 plus years of people leadership experience 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
