Warehouse Manager – Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $70,000–$75,000/year, depending on experience
Position Overview

Seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This is a management position, not a coordinator or administrative role. The ideal candidate will have direct experience supervising warehouse employees and managing overall warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Manage daily staffing, workflow, productivity, and employee performance
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Train, coach, and hold employees accountable to expectations
  • Ensure warehouse safety, organization, and housekeeping
  • Develop and enforce SOPs and monitor operational KPIs
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Partner with management on staffing and operational needs
  • Promote a professional, respectful, and productive work environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience
  • 3+ years of direct warehouse leadership/supervisory experience
  • Experience managing multiple warehouse functions
  • Strong inventory-control and cycle-count experience
  • Experience with WMS and/or ERP systems
  • Hands on experience operating a Cherry Picker 2+yrs
  • Proven ability to manage employee performance and resolve conflicts
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work on the warehouse floor
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
