Warehouse Manager (Part-time, 1st Shift)
Plymouth, Michigan
The Affinity Group is seeking a dependable and detail orientated part-time Warehouse Manager to process shipping and receiving requests, maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the stored inventory, and assist our Sales and Culinary staff in occasional kitchen prep and cleanup. This role is based out of our Plymouth, Michigan office location and will work cross functionally to support the needs of our internal sales teams and external clients.

What You'll Do:
A typical week you will be responsible, but not limited, to the following duties:
  • Daily loading and unloading of food products, freight, and POS materials
  • Keeping coolers and freezers clean and organized
  • Assist with food show preparation, set-up and breakdown
  • Assist sales teams with preparing samples for sales presentations
  • Schedule large deliveries and place orders as needed
  • Daily, light facilities cleaning in warehouse, kitchen and sales areas - sweeping, mopping floors, garbage removal, sorting and tidying inventory
  • Maintain Linens
  • Order labels and inventory supplies
  • Perform other general housekeeping duties as assigned specific to warehouse, sales training areas, and test kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients
Requirements:
  • Experience in a warehouse role with knowledge of proper safety protocol a plus
  • Reliable transportation required, along with a safe driving record and valid driver license
  • Must have good organization and communication skills and be teamwork oriented
  • Ability to work in refrigerated/freezer temperatures periodically throughout the day
  • Must be able to receive and lift packages up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
  • Microsoft Office experience a plus
  • Food Show experience a plus
