Job description

Overview
Bilingual and biliterate Spanish language instructional designer.
We are hiring for a role based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET). Candidates must be able to work and
interview during ET business hours (8 AM-4:30 PM ET).
Design and develop engaging multimedia learning experiences for employees, combining instructional
design, video production, and Spanish-language localization. Professional arborists provide talent support
in live-action shooting, and you create multimedia using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects and audio
tools. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform complex
arboriculture concepts into effective learning solutions delivered through our Learning Management
System (LMS).
You will play a key role in our strategic company initiative to lead the industry in excellent, scientifically
grounded tree care. This position offers a unique opportunity to advance the development of our online
learning paths for key roles in our company.

Responsibilities
  1. Analyze audience needs
  2. Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling online learning objects and
    courses for the Bartlett School of Arboriculture, including text, graphics, interactions, and
    simulations
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders and Learning Resource Manager (initially) to plan multimedia
    projects
  4. Collaborate with SMEs to create content and logically organize it
  5. Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to develop mixed media video
  6. Produce and edit multimedia projects, including writing and narrating scripts in English and
    Spanish
  7. Evaluate and update media projects as needed
  8. Assist LD Manager and LMS Administrators with LMS administration, if needed

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree (required); degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Education,
    Communications or a related field is preferred
  2. Fluency in Spanish (in speech, reading and writing) (required)
  3. 2+ years' instructional design experience with proficiency in Articulate Rise and Storyline courseauthoring tools (required)
  4. 2+ years' experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects tools (required)
  5. 2+ years' experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator tools (required)
  6. Linked work sample/profile (required)
  7. LMS administration and AI experience is preferred
