Streamside Parks is focused on buying, improving, and operating RV Park Resorts amp; Campgrounds. With a focus on stable properties with long-term occupants and strategic, desirable locations, we strive to provide solid returns to our investors AND operate campgrounds that delight our residents and campers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Rivertown Rose RV Park Campgrounds in Vicksburg, MS. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the park. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working across maintenance, groundskeeping, and guest-facing tasks.

This role requires outdoor, physical work and flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and maintain the park’s preventative maintenance schedule, ensuring routine inspections, upkeep, and follow-through are completed to protect assets and reduce reactive repairs

  • Complete work orders and repairs in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
  • Perform general maintenance including basic electrical (e.g., breakers, outlets), plumbing, carpentry, and repairs

  • Escalate complex or licensed work to approved vendors in accordance with company policy

  • Conduct regular park inspections and proactively identify maintenance needs

  • Maintain park grounds and landscaping, including mowing, weed-eating, trimming, planting, mulching, and general upkeep

  • Operate landscaping equipment and tools, including mowers and other grounds equipment

  • Ensure all common areas, roads, and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained

  • Manage trash removal and keep the park free of debris

  • Support pool/spa maintenance (if applicable)

  • Fill propane tanks (if licensed)

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

  • Deliver a high level of guest service—responding to requests promptly and professionally

  • Maintain organized workspaces and accurate maintenance records (PM logs, SDS, etc.)

  • Work within maintenance budgets and provide input on repairs and capital needs

  • Communicate clearly with the Park Manager and team

  • Support an “all hands on deck” environment across the park

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, or similar)

  • Comfortable performing outdoor, physical work in varying weather conditions

  • Experience operating mowers and landscaping equipment

  • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving mindset

  • RV park or hospitality experience is a plus

  • LP Gas and/or CPO certifications are a plus
