Position: RV Park Host Salary: $20.38/hour

DUTIES:

Serves as the on-site RV Park Host responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a Coast Guard MWR RV Park. Reports directly to the MWR Director or designated Command representative. Works independently on routine tasks but refers issues outside scope to RPM or unit personnel. This position provides guest services, monitors occupancy, communicates with maintenance and unit staff, and assists patrons during check-in and check-out. May collect payments. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, and works under general supervision. Work may include weekends, holidays, and evenings.


The work is primarily sedentary, performed in an office or park setting with routine walking or light lifting. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


RV Park Experience Preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Minimum:

1. High School Diploma or GED.

2. Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and text.

3. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other basic office software.

4. Ability to maintain professionalism when engaging with guests and unit personnel.


Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

1. Prior experience operating or managing RV parks or campgrounds.

2. Knowledge of RV systems and basic troubleshooting.

3. Familiarity with Coast Guard MWR policies or military lodging standards.

4. Skill in identifying and communicating maintenance or safety issues.
