Job description

An Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas as well as leading and supervising Room, Laundry and House Attendants in support of the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and House persons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards
  • Assign daily cleaning boards; evenly distribute work amongst the team
  • Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas
  • Communicate and coordinate with Front Desk Agents about the status of rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeping Manager with administrative duties as needed, such as scheduling, payroll edits, inventory, ordering, etc.
  • Oversee the Lost & Found program
  • Perform Room Attendant and/or House-person duties, as needed
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
