JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research, identify and develop revenue management opportunities, strategies and practices that contribute to RevPAR growth and market share increases.
  • Effectively incorporate the revenue management philosophy in all aspects of sales, reservations, revenue and operations.
  • Attends daily line-ups, credit meetings and actively participate in the weekly revenue strategy and group pick up meetings.
  • Helps prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports to Corporate and/or Ownership groups
  • Analyze marketplace reports such STAR, Hotelligence, Demand360 and other market intelligence reports
  • Runs 14-day forecast weekly and will assist with the execution of a monthly forecast
  • Updates STR data statistics daily for the complex
  • Runs incremental reports for the DORM
  • Assist with the training and development of In-house Group/Reservations Coordinators for the complex.
  • Helps manage and maintain group and transient inventory including but not limited to room accommodation and rate inventory controls.
  • Assist in the execution of new packages, rate strategies and special brand programs in collaboration with the Regional DORM, DOSM, General Manager(s) and Corporate office.
  • Helps oversee channel managements including rate loading and inventory management
  • Supports the DORM in the overall optimization of the Revenue Management System
  • Helps monitor segment booking pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources and implements according to the strategy of the hotel.
  • Helps maintain accurate and detailed property performance history.
  • Identifies and reports on trends (i.e., pace, group pace, booking window, booking channels, etc.)
  • Leads weekly Revenue Meetings in collaboration with the DORM
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Performs other essential Revenue Management and Reservations functions as assigned by the Complex DORM.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Hotel Management, Businessand/or related degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years revenue/reservations management experience with multiple systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Exceptional service and customer relations skills with ability to foster effective relationships with staff, management and clientele.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate ideas and concepts.
  • Highly proficient in computersincluding, but not limited to Internet, Microsoft Office programs and hotel sales related programs.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to make quick and efficient decisions to benefit the team and guest
  • Ability to use a moderately complex computer system and troubleshoot software problems
