Job description

Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm based in Raleigh, NC, is hiring internally for a Recruiter.

Our mission is to support lean, NC-based businesses to fill critical roles throughout the organization. We work with companies where recruiting is uniquely challenging, and it’s our goal to be an extension of our clients and to help address key vacancies throughout their organization, from executive leadership to associate.

Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will play a critical role in supporting the fulfillment side of Spyglass' operations. You'll own the candidate side of the search process from sourcing, screening, and presenting top talent to the team, while building relationships that support long-term business growth.

Core Values:

  • We stay agile — We adapt quickly, embrace change, and solve problems without overcomplicating them.
  • We take initiative — We don’t wait to be told. We see what needs to be done and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • We take the work seriously, not ourselves — We work hard and keep perspective, and we value humility, humor, and balance.
  • We win as a team — We support one another, share credit, and prioritize the success of the group over individual ego.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, post, and monitor job advertisements on job boards and social media platforms.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, LoxoSource, job boards, our internal database, and other relevant pools for client requisitions.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate suitability.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and Talent Acquisition leaders.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication, providing timely updates, and assisting with travel and accommodations if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in LOXO, our applicant tracking system.
  • Assist with background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screening processes.

Metrics & Expectations:

  • Candidate outreach of 100+ per week
  • 12+ phone screens completed per week
  • Zero open requisitions without a video interview scheduled
  • Weekly candidate submissions averaging 0.5 or more per active requisition (e.g., 5 submissions across 10 active roles).
  • Mutual LinkedIn connections leveraged on all applicable searches

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related role required.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
