Job description

Receptionist

Answer phones, greeting guests and providing clerical support to programs

Position Type

Non-Exempt/Full-Time 7:30am to 4:00pm

Essential Functions
  • Opening the building daily according to building procedures
  • Answer the phones and greet, assist, and monitor visitors
  • Route mail and faxes & various deliveries (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc)
  • Perform various front desk duties (Checking clients into the facility, schedule meeting rooms etc)
  • Maintain the copy area
  • Coordinated coverage of the front reception area with your supervisor when away from the desk
  • Report any significant concerns/incidents to supervisor
  • Maintain training requirement
  • Projects and duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

Proficiency in a range of computer skills. High School diploma required but a college degree in social sciences or a related field preferred and experience with the homeless population. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills. Ability to work under supervision but also independently

High school diploma required. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and basic computer skills.
