Job description

Gerry Lane Enterprises is looking to fill a Receptionist position at our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram retail location in Zachary, LA.
This position would be full time. 7am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday .
Prior experience in the automotive industry is not required, but would be beneficial if you have it. Prior experience working in customer service, call center, or similar role is required for consideration. Our Receptionists interact with many of our customers on a daily basis, so having strong customer service skills is absolutely required for this role.
Responsibilities
  • Answer group phones, greet and receive prospects and customers
  • Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson
  • Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams
  • Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Assist in scheduling and confirming sales appointments
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
  • Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
