We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Toronto Construction team! As a Project Manager, you will assist in the development and build of remarkable buildings, fostering enduring relationships with our people, partners, and clients while maintaining the Broccolini core values, Pride and Passion, Collaboration, Integrity, and Entrepreneurial Spirit.

What you will do as a Project Manager:

  • The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion and delivery of construction projects through complete contract management
  • They will plan, organize, direct and manage all facets of construction projects and ensure pre-established costs, schedule and scope objectives are achieved
  • Participate in creating the project budget, manage monthly progress, approve billings, produce monthly project reporting
  • Project planning with Superintendent, prepare preliminary schedule, identify scheduling risks, schedule discussion with clients
  • Contribute to tendering efforts for projects, prepare and review tender analysis, administer contracts with trades, liaison with Estimation and Contractors for pricing
  • Manage and chair design and or construction meetings, liaison with sub contractors and Consultants, resolve conflicts and problems
  • Implement a strong HSE culture on site and ensure Broccolini's HSE policies are adhered to
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to ensure career growth for team
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage expectations to deliver projects assigned to them
  • Perform site visits on a regular basis

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management roles
  • An engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture
  • Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS Project
  • Ability to demonstrate a stable career history as well as a track record of successfully completed projects
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships and resolve complex issues
  • Exceptional communication, time management and negotiating skills with the ability to work as a leader, in a team environment
