Job description

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for an experienced, collaborative and seasoned Project Manager to join our growing team. You're a client-facing leader who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, bringing structure, operational excellence, and calm to complex projects. You're well-versed in Adobe Workfront and know how to leverage enterprise workflows to drive visibility, collaboration, and operational excellence. You're excited by the opportunity to help shape and evolve the project management discipline at Zulu Alpha Kilo.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll work with teams across all three of our offices to deliver complex, integrated campaigns while helping build scalable project management practices across the agency.

  • Drive PM tool Excellence: Champion Adobe Workfront adoption and best practices, helping teams embrace new workflows and ways of working.
  • Keep Projects on Track: You'll be the guardian of project health, ensuring key clients' work is delivered on time and to the highest standards, pivoting when required.
  • Be a Connector: You'll be the hub that connects different teams - resourcing, creatives, strategists, account teams - making sure the right people are in the right place and everyone's speaking the same language.
  • Champion the balance between creative and operational needs: Be a guiding force for making sure projects not only align with client expectations but also meet the team's creative aspirations.
  • Build Better Ways of Working: Work closely with the Creative Operations Director and Managing Director to set up processes, tools, and systems to manage projects efficiently across the agency and improve workflow overall.
  • Keep Everyone in the Loop: You're the communication pro - making sure everyone always knows where the project stands, what's coming up, and where things need to go next. You'll keep everyone in sync and prevent any surprises.
  • Work Closely with the Resource team: You'll team up with the Resource team to ensure the right people are assigned to the right projects at the right time.

Who You Are:

  • A Master Organizer: You thrive on structure and detail, and you have an uncanny ability to keep a million moving parts in order.
  • Rigorous Project Manager: You not only have experience in active project management, but you thrive off of this line of work.
  • A Natural Problem Solver: When challenges arise (as they always do), you're quick to identify solutions and move things forward without skipping a beat.
  • A Smooth Communicator: You know how to keep everyone in the loop, whether you're talking to creatives, clients, or the team. You've got a knack for clear, concise, and engaging communication.
  • Reliably Awesome: You say what you're going to do, and you do it. You're the person people can count on to keep things moving and keep them on track.
  • Passionate About Creativity: You get excited about great ideas and enjoy working with a team of people who share that passion.
  • A Culture-builder: You value a positive, collaborative agency culture and contribute actively to maintaining a great working environment for your team.
  • Open to Travel: You are comfortable with occasional travel down to the US on an ongoing basis to meet with the team and clients. Travel schedules will vary based on business needs and project requirements.

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of project management experience within an integrated creative or advertising agency.
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront is required. Experience with Asana or other enterprise project management platforms is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading enterprise or regulated clients (such as financial services, pharmaceutical etc).
  • Experience partnering with Resource Management on capacity planning and forecasting is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience building trusted client relationships and confidently leading client conversations.

If you're a creative problem-solver who loves organizing the chaos and wants to help build something awesome, we want you on the team.

Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 CAD, depending on experience.
