Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you will join the Business Enablement portfolio, supporting initiatives across Sales, Product & Partnerships, and Operations. You will lead enterprise projects that include technical components and require coordination across business and technology teams.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Management.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $67,000 - $105,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of project deliverables.

  • Apply project governance practices, including charters, plans, risk and issue management, financial tracking, and procurement.

  • Foster a high-performance team environment and mentor junior project managers.

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues to maintain project progress.

  • Provide regular project reporting, including status updates, documentation, and stakeholder communications.

  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned into project practices.

  • Ensure effective project closure, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation review.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years managing projects with technical components.

  • PMP Certification.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across full lifecycle phases.

  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies.

  • Experience in process improvement and business consulting.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment on project outcomes.

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills with experience communicating project status and recommendations to diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Collaborative, energetic, and self-motivated team player.

  • High attention to detail and quality.
