Assistant Project Manager II
Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors (MMC) is looking for an Assistant Project Manager II to join our driven and dedicated Construction Group team working on projects in Rochester Minnesota. With over 300,000 mechanical contracting projects completed and over 60 years of experience, we aim to hire the industry's top talent.
In this role, you'll partner with the project manager to oversee and coordinate project plans for construction projects from preconstruction through post-construction and startup. At MMC, you'll learn from industry experts in our one-of-a-kind PM/APM Academy Program. You will be exposed to all aspects of the construction process, learn industry best practices, and experience something new every day. At MMC, we empower our employees to be successful through mentorship, training and expertise from MMC's construction executives and senior project management as well as from industry engineers and our partner vendors.
The APM will develop skills and experience assisting PM's in: Managing Labor(foreman and crew relationships, field support, crew first initiative, and walking job sites); Operational Excellence(PM process mapping, process submittals, and document distribution); Safety (perform safety audits and communicate safety plans to the Field); and Technical Knowledge(learning estimating and construction standards through the PM/APM Academy).

Salary Range: 70,000 to 85,000 (depending on experience and skills) plus incentive
